You have pledged your allegiance to a cause that intends to invade the middle east once more. You have given your approval for a new bloody and holy war. Luckily we don't actually intend to murder people in that name of God. This was an experiment. We wanted to see how many people would sign up to a cause they did not properly understand. In this day and age we are are bombarded with information and data, the problem is we never question what we are told, we never ask the right questions, we simply go along with what we are told.
Open your eyes, be wary of what you are told, question everything.
